Any contact with contaminated water will generally make most people ill but can be dangerous particularly for the very young and elderly; children's immunity builds slowly and therefore at younger ages do not have fully developed immunity and many elderly people have compromised immune systems.
This product is designed to be used directly, it is already activated with 25% Sodium Chlorite and 4% Hydrochloric Acid. 3000 PPM - Regulations art. 95 of EU Regulation 528/2012 on biocides.

Water-Borne Diseases and infections
Contaminated water is the source of many serious conditions some of the more common symptoms are diarrhoea, typhoid, cholera, gastroenteritis, hepatitis, scabies, and parasites.
Diarrhoea
This is the most common condition that results from drinking contaminated water. Diarrhoea is a very unpleasant condition which particularly affects small children. It causes those affected to become dehydrated, it can last up to two weeks but in certain cases can become a very serious condition. If left untreated it can become fatal. Over 500,000 people die each year from diarrhoea related conditions.
Typhoid Fever
Typhoid Fever is caused by a bacterium found in contaminated water. The symptoms can be wide ranging, including fever, headache, nausea, vomiting, constipation, and weight loss.
Typhoid Fever can cause the liver and spleen to enlarge and also ulcers in the intestinal tract
It is contagious and needs immediate medical attention.
Hepatitis A
There are various ways that a person can develop Hepatitis A, it can be spread by contact with an infected person but also from contaminated water spread by the faeces from infected humans that is why drinking from a well, river or spring can be dangerous. Hepatitis A must be treated medically because whilst many suffer from fever vomiting and nausea, severe complications can develop in some people and in particular people in vulnerable groups.
Cholera
Cholera is generally caused by a bacterium, it can be as a result of consuming contaminated food but drinking water drinking contaminated water. It is an unpleasant condition causing fever, diarrhoea, vomiting and nausea. Children are particularly vulnerable to this disease, but it affects adults too. Amongst water-borne diseases It has one of the highest mortality rates. Those highest at risk are those with a compromised immune system and HIV.
Typhoid fever
Contaminated water can contain the bacteria that causes Typhoid Fever. There are many symptoms the most common being, fever, vomiting, nausea, and weight loss. Treatment should be sought urgently because it is contagious
